Brings back memories and tears. Tears of fear and Tears of gratefulness. What a year.
So grateful you are writing and sharing your heart. In the deep in with you ... tough place ... but an amazing place from which to watch God's glory. Eager to read as you write.
Loved it Kyle. I can identify with your feelings completely! ❤️😭 How awful the first knowledge can feel but how amazing God can be. I (as a child) was always afraid of the deep end. God waited till I was more grown up to have to handle it. Thanks for sharing.
I have several friends who are either looking at the other side of cancer, facing an uncertain future with cancer, are living with serious chronic illnesses, or who will be going Home soon. And I’m not kidding when I say that ALL of you have written blogs or posts in the past 2 weeks about coming to grips with, making peace with, the idea that we are not promised a long life and what we do with the time we have, today, is what they’ve come to understand is so important. I’m very much looking forward to reading your thoughts and what you’ve learned and continue to learn from this journey you’ve been on. Thanks for letting us in!
Wow, Julie, thanks for sharing that with me. Sounds like this is echoing in your life. I hope these reflections you're reading are helpful in your journey.
Kyle, I cannot wait to read your next entry. I hope we will get some time IRL to discuss some of these things. I think our first conversation was about tthe deeper side of life.
Been there. Life is a gift and God is the giver. So thankful He is in control of all things and He takes us through these difficult times. Blessed beyond measure.
Good blog. Touched a soft spot. You’re on to something. 😊

Thank you for sharing too, Vera! It can be a scary place, but scary places in my life have always been where God does his best work :)
